Hi there, and welcome to Best Friend Design Studio!

I’m a professional artist and designer and a proud graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, Class of 2024. I started Best Friend Design Studio as a creative outlet to share my love of needlepoint and hopefully inspire more people (especially beginners) to pick up a needle and give this amazing hobby a try.

My journey with designing needlepoint charts actually started in college. At the time, I didn’t have access to a local needlepoint shop, and as a college student, I definitely didn’t have the extra income to constantly buy new canvases. So, I started designing my own projects from scratch.

But I also realized that not everyone wants, or knows how, to start with a completely blank canvas. That’s where my love for digital charts came in. A chart gives you a starting point while still giving you the freedom to make the design your own. You can change the colors, add your own details, or follow it exactly as designed. That freedom and creativity are what I love most about needlepoint, and it’s the reason I started sharing my designs.

Today, Best Friend Design Studio offers digital charts, hand-painted canvases, printed canvases, and custom designs. We’re always dreaming up new ideas, and I’m so excited to see where this little studio goes next.
